Jeremiah 37:15
←Back to VersesWherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.
So the leaders got angry with Jeremiah and hit him, then locked him up in the house of Jonathan the writer's place because they turned it into a jail.
