←Back to VersesSend to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:
Tell everyone held captive, "The Lord says this about Shemaiah from Neheli: He pretended to be a prophet, but I didn't send him. He lied to you and made you believe false things."
