←Back to VersesAnd they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
They said, "Let's build a city and a tower that reaches close to the sky. This way, we can have a famous name so we don't get spread out all over the world."
