←Back to VersesThere have been mighty kings also over Jerusalem, which have ruled over all countries beyond the river; and toll, tribute, and custom, was paid unto them.
Big rulers were also in charge of Jerusalem, controlling lands far away. They received taxes, fees, and payments from everyone.
