KJV - Deuteronomy 32:27
Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
If I didn't worry about the enemy's anger, I might be worried that their opponents would act weird, and they might say, "We did this on our own; the Lord didn't do it all."
