Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 23

KJV - Deuteronomy 23:14

For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

For the Lord your God is with you in your camp to protect and defeat your enemies. Keep your camp clean so He can be with you without seeing anything wrong, and He won't leave you.
