Moses gives speeches about laws and the importance of following God before the Israelites enter the Promised Land.

Chapter 1

KJV - Deuteronomy 1:1

These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

Moses spoke these words to all of Israel beyond the Jordan River in the desert, near the Red Sea, between the places called Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
