Amos 7:14
Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
Simple English
Then Amos replied to Amaziah, saying, "I am not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet. I was just a shepherd, taking care of sheep, and a person who collected figs from sycamore trees."
