Acts 17:23
For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
Simple English
As I walked by, I saw your prayers. I noticed an altar with a message: "To the unknown god." So, I'm telling you now, the one you unknowingly worship is the unknown god.
