Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Lastly, friends, please pray for us so that the message from God can spread freely and be honored, just like it is with you.

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

And so we can be saved from unfair and bad people: because not everyone believes.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

But God is trustworthy; He will strengthen and protect you from harm.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

We trust in the Lord for your obedience to our commands, now and in the future.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

May the Lord guide your hearts to love God and patiently wait for Christ.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

We ask you, brothers and sisters, using the power of Jesus Christ, to stay away from anyone who is not behaving properly or following the teachings we shared with them.

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

You yourselves understand how you should imitate us, because we didn't misbehave while with you.

Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

We didn't just receive free food from anyone; instead, we worked hard day and night to avoid being a financial burden on others.

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

We don't use our power for pride, but to show you how to imitate us.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

We told you when we were together that if someone doesn't work, they shouldn't get food.

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

Some in your group are not behaving properly; they don't work but cause trouble instead.

Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

We instruct and encourage those people by Jesus Christ to work peacefully and earn their own food.

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

But brothers, don't get tired of doing good things.

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

If someone doesn't follow our message in this letter, identify that person and don't associate with them, so they feel embarrassed.

Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Don't see him as an enemy, but warn him like a sibling.

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Now, the God of peace personally gives you peace forever in every way. May God be with all of you.

The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

Paul's greeting, written by him, is found in every letter; this shows it's genuine and I am the writer.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

May the kindness of our Lord Jesus bless you all. Amen.
