←Back to VersesAnd Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
Hoshea, son of Elah, plotted against Pekah, son of Remaliah, and killed him. Then Hoshea took over as king, ruling during the 20th year of Jotham, son of Uzziah.
