1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 28

KJV - 1 Samuel 28:3

Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

After Samuel passed away, everyone in Israel mourned and buried him in Ramah, his hometown. Then, Saul removed all those who practiced magic and fortune-telling from the land.
