1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 26

KJV - 1 Samuel 26:21

Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.

Then Saul said, "I have done wrong. Please forgive me, my son David. I won't hurt you anymore because I know that your life is valuable to you. I was foolish and made a big mistake."
