1 Samuel 25:31
←Back to VersesThat this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord hath avenged himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember thine handmaid.
This means: To make sure you don't feel sad or hurt inside, my dear lord, I want you to know that you didn't spill blood for no reason, and I also want you to know that I didn't do anything wrong. Everything will be okay when the LORD helps us, then please remember your humble servant.
