1 Samuel

Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 20

KJV - 1 Samuel 20:21

And, behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is peace to thee, and no hurt; as the LORD liveth.

And look, I will send a boy to fetch the arrows. If I tell him specifically that the arrows are on his right side, then you can go get them because it's safe and there's no danger; I promise this as the Lord is alive.
