Tells about Samuel, the last judge, and the beginning of Israel's monarchy with King Saul and young David.

Chapter 16

KJV - 1 Samuel 16:21

And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer.

David arrived at Saul's side, stood in front of him, and Saul really liked him a lot. David then helped Saul with his armor.
