←Back to VersesSeest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son’s days will I bring the evil upon his house.
Do you see how Ahab is showing respect to me? Since he shows respect to me, I won't cause harm during his time. However, I will bring harm during the time of his son.
