Assures believers of eternal life through faith in Jesus and commands love for God and one another.

Chapter 3

KJV - 1 John 3:9

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Whoever is born from God does not do wrong things; because God's part stays in them. They can't do bad things since they came from God.
