1 John

Assures believers of eternal life through faith in Jesus and commands love for God and one another.

Chapter 3

KJV - 1 John 3:1

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Look at how much love the Father has given to us, by calling us his children. This is why the world doesn't recognize us, because it didn't know Him.
